Gestalt: a new vision of man

It is a therapy of "the here and now-how" that rehabilitates felt existential, emotional and sensitive to unify the whole person.

Gestalt therapy and theory have been founded around 1950 by Fritz Perls and Paul Goodman.Elle is located at the crossroads of psychoanalysis-inspired approaches Psychocorporal Reichian therapy and existential and phenomenological.

Thinking "Gestalt" is an original, authentic, natural life, that is to say, thought, action and sensitivity of the human being.

Gestalt therapy focuses on awareness of the experience, now in progress (in the "here and now" and "how"). She rehabilitates the emergence of emotional feeling and body and develops an overall perception of the person, by unifying its emotional dimensions, sensory, intellectual, social and spiritual.

Gestalt seeks to make genuine contact with others and allows everyone to identify his "being in the world."

This therapy does not focus only on our difficulties in understanding the "why" but aims to test possible solutions by the new "feel how" inspiring change.

Raising responsibility and autonomy, wants to reconcile the Gestalt being and having, to link knowledge and power in an intervention logic that can be either individual or collective. This formatting (meaning of "Gestalt") gives meaning to the evolution of the person, inserted into a family and social fabric. This, through the establishment of autonomy - "I am the creator of my actions" - and the acceptance and implementation of its potential.

Gestalt integrates and combines a variety of methods and techniques, verbal and nonverbal.

Bioenergy analytic: In search of lost body

The creator of Bioenergy: Alexander Lowen

The meeting with Wilhelm Reich was decisive and founder of a new form of psychotherapy that body will appoint A.Lowen BIOENERGY, body therapy based on "stress positions" and the introduction of the concept of "rooted" to confirm Reich's position in relation to psychoanalysis "the word is not enough." This new body therapy gives the therapist an active part in the session, as it creates a movement, he says, he participated with his body, his intuitions, emotions.

But also the conceptual framework evolves because Bioenergy A.Lowen defines character structures that allow therapists to incorporate into their practice how their client manages his need for love, his request for physical intimacy, impulses of desire . It also gives a place to speak, renewed and enriched by a practice for every body type.

The objective of bioenergetic analysis is to restore mobility of the free energy of deep and unearth the "emotional bodies" buried in the body, who hinder and prevent the flow of life within us and around us.

Training for staff-hospital care and related

Enrich the practice of nursing.

To outline a warm gesture, take a hand, a neck massage, a facial, what risks are being taken? One: a daring gesture. Is it not the only chance in the face of current interventions and techniques, increasingly complex, humanistic way to rebalance the specific role of the caregiver that the lack of time, stress of daily work and sanitize deprive its relational dimension which is essential with the patient? Alongside a "contact medicalized" and competent human contact, soothing, reassuring, must be present.

Just touch the caregiver is listening and communication, presence and support each other.

Psychology and Ethics of Sensitive Gestalt Massage ®

Comments off 02/06/2008 Comments off

The term Sensitive Gestalt Massage ®, used since 1980, is the one used to support the dissemination of this approach across Europe, where it is practiced and taught. It was introduced and its use is restricted to certified teachers and practitioners with a commitment of ethics.

After specific training and appropriate supervision, the SGM can also be used as therapy in the full range of psychosomatic.

An adjunct to basic training and to make it more consistent with the spirit that presided over its creation, we have incorporated in a number of training courses: an Introduction Theory and Practice of Gestalt Therapy, Psychology of Touch , Psychopathology, Relationship Help (Stage Touch and Bodymind Integration) and days of supervision. They can:

- Understand the psychophysical aspect of SGM
- Have an important insight into self
- And so be better prepared to work as a practitioner.

The Institute
